What the Extension Does

• Allows the user to upload a local .txt file (e.g., words.txt) for custom word display.
• Provides a toggle UI for turning the extension on or off from the toolbar.
• Displays a floating word/logo on the screen as part of the user experience.
• All actions are performed locally within the browser.
• No internet connection is required for functionality.

File Upload Disclaimer

When uploading a .txt file, the content remains on your local machine and is not transmitted or stored anywhere else. The extension uses the file solely to display words within your browser session.

Data Collection

Float Word does not collect:

• Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
• Browsing history
• Location or IP address
• Analytics or tracking data
